Toyota is always at the top

I read somewhere that Toyota is still the top for sales in vehicles this 2024. Why? Is it really that reliable? I've only had Lexus throughout time and I am quite confused. I heard Lexus is better when it comes to tech and everything so I don't get it. Thoughts? Who's gonna be the best this 2025?

Toyota leads 2024 sales because it is super reliable and has a wide range of models for different needs. Lexus is more about luxury and tech so it depends on what you prefer. Both are solid choices. For 2025 the toyota and lexus will still be top players but it'll be interesting to see who else steps up. It is about what matters most to you in a car

Its because they reaalised that you don't need bells and whistles when the car just works and keeps working. It's the kind of brand people trust when they want something that starts every morning and won't bankrupt them in repairs

2025? Could shake things up a little, I can feel subaru's creeping in on reliability now but toyota atill holds the momentum, and unless someone really stumbles or innovates like crazy, they're probably holding the throne a while longer.

Lexus doesn't make as many sales as Toyota because it's nowhere near as affordable. In addition to that, lexus doesn't have as many models so it can't sell as much. 2025 could be anyone's game, but I still think Toyota will remain on top

Thank you all for your insights. They're really valuable to me. I do get what you mean of course people are gonna like Toyota more (like the tendency is higher since they got more sales) compared to Lexus where samples are at a minimum. I must quit overthinking at once!
